Job summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, BC. You will provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting, aligned with BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards and Fraser Health procedures.

You will collaborate with physicians, licensed practical nurses, and the care team to implement care plans, assess patient needs, and educate patients and families to support health goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessments and nursing care planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and collects information to diagnose and plan nursing care.
• Collaborates with patients and families to develop and modify care plans.
• Coordinates nursing care, priorities, and referrals with the care team.
• Teaches patients and families about illness prevention and health maintenance.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes following Fraser Health procedures.
