Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
• Emergency nursing experience or post-graduate emergency focus preferred.
• Ability to provide direct patient care per standards and Fraser Health procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect information to plan, provide and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with patients and families in developing and modifying the care plan.
• Coordinate nursing care, set priorities, and delegate tasks to staff as needed.
• Teach patients and families about illness prevention and health maintenance.
• Document assessments, interventions, outcomes and referrals according to standards.
