Canada Guaranty is a leading Canadian mortgage insurer seeking a Senior Risk Modelling professional to develop and maintain quantitative models guiding prudent portfolio growth. Reporting to the VP, Risk Modelling, Analytics and Reporting, you will focus on risk scoring, underwriting and portfolio management analytics.

You will collaborate with actuarial and analytics teams, translate complex findings for executives, and lead special projects.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years risk management in banking or insurance.
• 2+ years predictive/consumer/financial modelling.
• Strong experience with SAS and SQL; Python/R a plus.
• Ability to extract, prepare, and analyze large data sets.
• Communicate findings to Executives with clarity.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain an adjudication model to support risk adjudication strategy.
• Build IFRS 17, capital, and stress testing models for the actuary team.
• Evaluate credit bureau scores and data sources to enhance models.
• Communicate findings succinctly to executives and senior management.
• Execute special projects and perform other duties as required.
