Job description

Job Title: Risk Analyst - TDJP00054840

Contract Duration: 24 months (Extension possible)

Pay range: C$95 - 115/hr

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Location: Hybrid (In office 4 days a week)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain team procedures triggered by policy/standard changes, regulatory updates, and process modifications, with a focus on anti-financial crime requirements.
• Facilitate information gathering and internal approvals for anti-financial crime initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly quality assurance testing related to anti-financial crime measures.
• Assist the asset management business with daily inquiries concerning anti-financial crime issues.
• Contribute to regulatory and policy governance tasks, including internal and regulatory reporting, policy drafting, control mapping, and regulatory change management.

Job Qualifications

• Knowledge of anti-financial crime topics such as anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing, sanctions, and anti-bribery/corruption, preferably in asset management.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently under guidance.
• Risk management or compliance experience in asset management is beneficial.

Required Education/Experience

• Degree/Certifications: Not required, but AML-related certification is preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years
