Typical Day in Role:
Project Name: 4190-90 TECH, AUDIT, RISK AND COMPLIANCE – MNT
This project involves IT Risk team resources performing IT Risk, audit, and compliance activities for Investor Services and assigned Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Review IT Risk assessments submitted by application or business owners.
- Review Project Future Risk state assessments.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders to discuss/review submitted assessments.
- Read articles and presentations related to risk and security.
- Work on regulatory assessments with stakeholders.
- Provide IT Risk consulting and support to application teams.
- Review bank IT Risk standards and policies.
- Monitor risk dashboards, investigate breaches, and provide commentary.
- Review evidence for audits.
- Assist and guide technical staff in developing mapping logic for source data feeds.
- Configure and extract position data using internal Enterprise Risk System for various regulatory and business purposes.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience in IT risk management or information security.
- Experience with risk management frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Knowledge of cloud computing, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of managing IT risk and implementing risk management programs.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of financial data mapping concepts and processes.
- Understanding of banking products.
- Experience with data warehousing, relational databases, and information flow.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- CRISC certification.
- ITIL certification.
- Audit experience with IT auditors.
- Knowledge of risk measurement and valuation in capital markets and banking products.
- Business analysis and problem-solving skills.
