Job description

Job Title: IT Risk Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 12 + Months

Daily Responsibilities:

• Reviewing IT Risk assessments submitted by application or business owners.
• Reviewing Project Future Risk state assessments
• Attending meetings with stakeholders to discuss/review submitted assessments
• Reading Risk and Security related articles and presentations pertaining to the role.
• Working on regulatory assessments with stakeholders
• Providing IT Risk consulting and support to application teams
• Reviewing IT Risk standards and policies
• Monitoring risk dashboards and potentially investigating breaches and providing commentary
• Reviewing evidence for audits

Must Have skills:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in IT risk management or information security.
• Experience with risk management frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GDPR)
• Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, and emerging technologies
• Proven track record of successfully managing IT risk and implementing effective risk management program

Nice to have skills:

• Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ITIL Certification
• Audit experience - Experience working with IT auditors.
