Location: Mississauga, ON

Role Overview: As a Risk Advisor, you will plan, coordinate, and document the project risk management process. Your strong facilitation and quantitative analysis skills will ensure risks are identified, evaluated, mitigated, and monitored according to corporate policies. You will collaborate with functional areas to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen processes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Risk Workshops: Lead risk identification workshops, develop risk mitigation strategies with management and partners, monitor risks, understand delivery expectations, and maintain risk registers.
  • Risk Reporting & Analysis: Analyze risk data, improve risk reporting using statistical methods, prepare reports for stakeholders, and conduct risk evaluations.
  • Risk Management Activities: Own and improve the risk management process, liaise with risk and insurance groups, provide training, and ensure compliance with procedures.

Ideal Candidate
  • 3-5 years in risk management and 8+ years in engineering/construction fields such as project or contract management.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerBI, and risk analysis software like @Risk, Safran Risk, ARM, or Primavera.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivational leadership and facilitation abilities.
  • Experience with mega projects (> $1 billion, P3).
