Position Overview :

The primary responsibility will be handling inbound calls from existing and potential customers regarding pending applications, potentially fraudulent activity, disputes, along with all credit card sales and service call types. You will represent our and our clients’ brand, directly influencing cardholders’ impressions of the quality of service, so focus on efficiency and quality of customer interactions in our fast-paced, changing environment is essential.

Position : Bilingual Risk Specialist
Position Status : Full Time
Remote Hours of Work : Monday - Sunday 7:00 am - 11:00 pm EST
Department : Contact Centre
Rate of Pay : $21.00 / HR (English / French)

Open to residents in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent customer service responding to inbound inquiries including account updates, product information, and website support.
  • Respond to risk inquiries related to credit, fraud, and disputes with professionalism.
  • Identify and mitigate fraud risks during calls or follow-ups.
  • Verify transaction activity with cardholders.
  • Handle sensitive calls empathetically from customers impacted by potential fraud or disputes.
  • Communicate with analysts and supervisors regarding fraud trends.
  • Present product offers to assess customer interest and eligibility.
  • Discuss benefits of additional products and services to enhance customer experience.
  • Update customer information accurately during calls.
  • Follow escalation procedures and adhere to quality and PCI compliance standards.
  • Follow the NTT DATA Code of Conduct and Sensitive Consumer Information Standards.

Requirements :

  • Fluent verbal communication in English and French.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Experience in financial services, fraud, credit, or disputes is an asset.
  • Contact center experience is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with proven customer experience.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and typing skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work within time constraints.
  • Ability to meet performance targets and be flexible with shifts, including weekends and evenings.
