Revenue Manager

Sandman Hotel Group and Sutton Place Hotel Company

Duties

  • Collaborate and strategize with the General Manager, Director of Sales, Sales Managers as required with a goal of driving RevPAR and the associated Indexes.
  • Communicate and execute Revenue Management strategies and tactics with the properties.
  • Ensure all sales and pricing strategies are based on sound judgement through effective analysis using all available tools.
  • Create and execute an ongoing Revenue Management training program for our General Managers and others within the organization.
  • Create and distribute reports with supporting commentary as required.
  • Ensure professional and efficient use of all systems/tools, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure properties are actively engaged in all revenue decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement, drive and review optimal strategies and controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as required for specific initiatives including email blasts, direct mail offers, brand offers, wholesale offers and internet partner offers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • A university degree or college diploma in hotel management, revenue management, analytics, or other related discipline is required.
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in hotel revenue.
  • Applicants are required to be flexible with work schedule.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems, particularly in Opera Cloud, Duetto, Travelclick product/services ideal.
  • Ability to travel when needed.

Applicable Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal) and strong communication skills.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and common sense.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must be well-organized, multi-task efficiently, and possess strong processes and procedure implementation skills.
  • Must have time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize work for self and others.
  • Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, highly efficient, and accurate in execution of work.
  • Additional language(s) an asset.
