How you’ll shape the future of the Paper Board Sales team:
  • Develop and implement a pricing strategy for coated board categories, taking into account perceived value and competition.
  • Analyze production costs, cost prices and profit margins to determine optimal prices.
  • Develop calculation methodologies for quotations, list prices and price thresholds for different coated board grades.
  • Maintain a company price list and update it periodically according to market fluctuations.
  • Perform price range analysis to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor pricing projects and performance of coated board products.
  • Implement value-based pricing tools and models for new coated board products.
  • Support the negotiation of contract terms with customer and distributor account managers.
  • Participate in the annual budget process as well as the monthly forecasting process.
  • Manage and follow up on customer contracts.
  • Become a pricing authority in the coated board industry by monitoring market trends and innovations.
  • Conduct market analyses to help guide the company's strategic decisions.
You’ll be someone who can bring:
  • Experience: At least 10 years managing pricing strategies and contracts.
  • The ability to analyze complex data, understand trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate pricing and precise contracts.
  • Creativity: Pricing may involve creating innovative pricing models and finding new ways to maximize revenue.
  • Persistence: Pricing negotiations can be challenging and lengthy.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in French and English.
