How you’ll shape the future of the Paper Board Sales team :
- Develop and implement a pricing strategy for coated board categories, taking into account perceived value and competition.
- Analyze production costs, cost prices and profit margins to determine optimal prices.
- Develop calculation methodologies for quotations, list prices and price thresholds for different coated board grades.
- Maintain a company price list and update it periodically according to market fluctuations.
- Perform price range analysis to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
- Develop reports and dashboards to monitor pricing projects and performance of coated board products.
- Implement value-based pricing tools and models for new coated board products.
- Support the negotiation of contract terms with customer and distributor account managers.
- Participate in the annual budget process as well as the monthly forecasting process.
- Manage and follow up on customer contracts.
- Become a pricing authority in the coated board industry by monitoring market trends and innovations.
- Conduct market analyses to help guide the company's strategic decisions.
You’ll be someone who can bring :
- Experience : At least 10 years managing pricing strategies and contracts.
- The ability to analyze complex data, understand trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate pricing and precise contracts.
- Pricing is a key component of the business strategy.
- Creativity : Pricing may involve creating innovative pricing models and finding new ways to maximize revenue.
- Persistence : Pricing negotiations can be challenging and lengthy.
- Bilingual : Fluent in French and English.
