Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is hiring for a temporary 4-month contract position. The role is part-time, up to 24.5 hours weekly, and pays $16.20 per hour. Schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and evenings. You will help with merchandising, customer service, and store operations while supporting our mission in Alberta.

The candidate should be at least 16, eligible to work in Canada, and able to work in a team, with a flexible schedule and physical stamina for stock handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 16 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform physical work continually.
• Deliver amazing customer service by going above and beyond for all Goodwill customers.]
• Demonstrate teamwork and engage fellow Team Members in contributing to Goodwill’s mission & core purpose.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service at all times in a variety of situations.
• Hanging, displaying, and merchandising new stock in the retail store.
• Pulling and rotating merchandise as per regular stock rotation schedule.
• Processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Informing customers of in-store promotions and weekly sales.
