Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is hiring a part-time Retail Associate at our Edmonton store. You will sort donations, assist customers, stock shelves and support the retail team to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role requires a minimum age of 15, ability to work evenings/weekends, and eligibility to work in Canada. The position ends January 31, 2027, with a pay rate of $16.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age 15 or older.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform physical tasks on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and grades donations to determine what is sellable.
• Identify high-end and designer quality donations for special pricing.
• Track production targets and complete production sheets per SOPs.
• Transport items to and from the sales floor and place on shelves.
• Tidy shelves, racks, bins or displays and rotate stock as needed.
• Assist Retail team at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise.
• Provide world class customer service to all Goodwill customers.

What you’ll be doing:

What you bring to the table:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 15 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• The ability to perform physical work on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques. (A strong asset but not a deal-breaker)
