Job summary

Michaels Lachenaie store is seeking team members to deliver friendly, efficient customer service in a busy retail environment. You will help customers find products, participate in checkouts, and support omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, and ensuring in-stock conditions while upholding store policies and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Friendly and helpful attitude with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in shopping, locating products, and providing solutions
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and adhere to cash handling standards
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and company programs
• Support Omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and in-stock conditions; support store recovery
• Contribute to Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and teammates professionally; role model Michaels values
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
