Job summary

Samsonite is seeking a friendly, professional Store Associate to join our retail team in Canada. You will assist the Store Manager, drive sales with strong customer service, maintain brand standards, and help achieve sales and profit goals.

This role includes training/coaching staff, protecting assets, and promoting a positive store environment. Ideal candidates have experience in retail, a high school diploma, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and work nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with the following aspects of operating a retail store.
• Support an environment that Drive sales by having strong customer service skills.
• Consistently deliver brand enhancing store standards that create a positive customer experience.
• Support store achievement of established sales and profit plan.
• Assist Store Manager with the training/coaching of store staff.
• Protect company assets and control inventory shrinkage.
• Utilize skills as a team player to help grow the store, the brand, and continuously provide constructive and positive feedback to one another.
• Possess an ability to drive sales by understanding/explaining merchandise to the customer.
• Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency at point of sale.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability.
