Job summary

TELUS is seeking a Seasonal Retail Support Associate to join our stores in Canada. You will engage with customers, help them find solutions, and support daily store operations.

You’ll work evenings, weekends and holidays during the busy season; compensation includes $20/hour in Ontario, Alberta and BC, or $19/hour in Manitoba, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Prior retail or customer service is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to build rapport, identify needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Work closely with Sales Representatives and Store Managers to achieve store goals.
• Assist with daily store operations, including inventory management and restocking.
• Keep the store clean and well-organized and handle a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

As a Seasonal Retail Support Associate in our stores, you can expect to:

• Be part of a high performing team where contributions are measured and recognized

• Engage with customers to build rapport, identify their needs, and ensure a positive shopping experience
• Work closely with Sales Representatives and Store Managers to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment
• Assist with daily store operations, including managing inventory, restocking shelves, and ensuring the store is clean and well-organized
• Work a flexible schedule, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays. Key dates include but not limited to November 27, November 28, November 29th and November 30th (Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday) and December 26 - December 27 (Boxing Day weekend)

Please note: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, but not required. A passion for technology and telecommunications is a plus.
