Job summary

JD Sports Woodgrove Centre in Nanaimo, BC, is seeking a capable Supervisor to lead our on-site retail team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer experiences, manage scheduling and inventory, and coach staff to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced, streetwear-focused store.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail management, a passion for sneaker culture, strong numeric skills, and the ability to motivate a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management or keyholder experience.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Experience supervising, training and coaching sales associates.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered.
• Train and grow a team focused on delivering outstanding experiences.
• Generate business results and achieve KPIs.
• Deliver sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational standards.
• Act as a partner between customers, sales associates and store leadership.
