Job summary

Esso/Shell Gas Station & Convenience Store and Gregoire Car Wash in Fort McMurray, AB, is hiring a Retail Store Supervisor to manage daily store operations. Two vacancies, full-time, $19.00 hourly for 35 hours per week. Shift timing to be determined; immediate start preferred.

The role involves supervising 3–4 staff, merchandising, sales reporting, inventory control, hiring and training, and coordinating daily tasks in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• 1 year to 2 years of experience preferred.
• Criminal record check required.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and assist customers.
• Prepare reports on sales volumes and merchandising.
• Prepare reports on personnel matters.
• Authorize return of merchandise and assign duties.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 3–4 workers.
• Organize and maintain inventory; order merchandise.
• Establish work schedules; hire and train staff.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve problems.
• Ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.
