Bulk Barn is seeking an experienced Store Manager in Penticton to lead the store team, drive profitability and deliver outstanding customer service. You will partner with the District Manager to meet revenue goals, manage staffing, training, and adherence to policies while fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in retail management, strong people leadership, and solid POS/cash handling experience.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years’ experience as a retail manager.
• 3-5 years’ experience supervising and/or leading people.
• 3-5 years’ experience working in a retail environment (Food Retail experience is an asset).
• 3-5 years’ experience servicing and resolving customer concerns.
• Understanding of business management fundamentals.
• Post-secondary certificate in business or related field an asset.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more as required by the business.
• Must have both POS and cash handling experience.

Aufgaben

• Communications are to be professional, timely, thorough and proactive whenever possible.
• Lead store team to achieve operating efficiencies, revenue goals, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Source, hire, train and develop store team.
• Address underperformance with documented performance improvement plans.
• Formally recognize strong performers within the assigned region.
• Manage store team in compliance with operational, legislative and HR policies and procedures.
• Work with store staff to resolve issues proactively and/or report unresolved issues to the District Manager for support.
• Ensure the store team performs to Company standards and are held accountable for non-compliance.
• Prepare and deliver the daily deposit to the nearest TD Bank.
• Know our customer by interacting on the sales floor and observing shopping behaviors.
• Understand and administer operational and HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Understand and apply operational requirements and reports to daily operations.
• Have a good understanding of our business, competitors and how to leverage assets for long term success.
• Set high expectations for excellent customer service and maintain visual/merchandising standards.
• Ensure stores are closing to open with defined floor plans and active engagement culture.
• Engage customers to showcase products and create WOW marketing benefits.
• Drive business through SMART goals and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with District Manager for sales goals and staffing plans.
