Job summary

Bulk Barn is seeking an experienced Retail Manager for Store #546 at 915 Empress Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. You will partner with the District Manager and store team to ensure compliance with policies and laws while driving store performance in revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will lead sourcing, hiring and development of the store team, ensure effective communications, and manage labour and operations to maintain high standards and an exceptional in-store experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a retail manager.
• 3-5 years supervising and/or leading people.
• 3-5 years working in a retail environment (Food Retail experience is an asset).
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more as required by the business.
• Must have both POS and cash handling experience.
• Post-secondary certificate in business or related field an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work with District Manager and store team to ensure compliance with customer service standards, policies and applicable legislation.
• Lead the store in operating efficiencies, revenue goals, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for sourcing, hiring and development of the Store Team.
• Communicate professionally and proactively with the store team and customers.
• Manage labour scheduling and ensure staff coverage to run the store effectively.
