Job summary

Mind Games is seeking a Store Manager in Oshawa to lead daily operations, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences at our Oshawa Centre location. You’ll drive sales, manage budgets, and ensure operational excellence while fostering a vibrant, game-loving store culture.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of management in specialty retail, a customer-focused mindset, and strong coaching and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in a specialty retail or customer-focused environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Expertise in sales growth, merchandising strategies, expense control, shrink reduction, and brand differentiation.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and drive operational excellence.
• Passion for board games, pop culture, and creating memorable customer experiences.
• Energetic, outgoing, and motivated personality that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales and financial reports to identify opportunities and implement strategies to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
• Execute and monitor loss prevention and shrink control programs.
