Job summary

New Balance is seeking a Retail Store Manager for our London, Canada location. You will lead staff, operations, and store presentation, driving total customer satisfaction and sales performance. Role requires coaching, strategic direction, and strong merchandising oversight.

You will hire, train, and develop a team, coordinate weekly rhythms, manage budgets, and uphold safety standards while fostering a collaborative, in-person team environment.

Qualifications

• POS systems and Microsoft Office familiarity.
• Experience developing staff through coaching and training.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, service, merchandising, inventory, budgeting and loss prevention.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 4–8 lbs, stand for extended periods, and move product.

Responsibilities

• Create a 'Total Customer Satisfaction' culture by training staff on the NB GUEST service model.
• Set store strategy to achieve sales and budget goals.
• Hire and develop team members and manage performance.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Collaborate with District Manager to analyze market trends and drive sales.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain positive employee relations.
