Job summary

New Balance is seeking Retail Sales Associates to support our stores in Canada with exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge. You will guide customers through the shopping journey, demonstrate product features, and help them find the right fit while representing the New Balance brand with integrity.

Qualifications

• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment
• Familiarity with cash register functions
• Ability to quickly perform basic math
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, kneel or squat frequently, stand for long periods, and climb ladders or stairs as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with proper selling techniques and product knowledge
• Educate customers on product features and benefits and close sales
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked sales floor and accurate labeling
• Protect products by following security and safety procedures
• Handle transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems
