Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Halifax, NS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach teams, and drive retail excellence. This hands-on role focuses on merchandising execution, inventory replenishment, and delivering standout customer service in a fast-paced store.

You will recruit and develop Key Holders and Store Associates, ensure policy adherence, manage stock counts, and oversee cash operations while maintaining flexible day, evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail management experience.
• Proven leadership, communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexible availability for day, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and assume full responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate Key Holders and Store Associates.
• Ensure policies, procedures and asset management standards are followed.
• Oversee inventory counts to support replenishment and stock control.
• Operate the cash register and uphold customer service standards.
• Large focus on retail inventory replenishment.
