Retail Sales Supervisor

Y3 CONVENIENCE STORE in Grande Prairie, Alberta is now hiring a Permanent Full-Time Retail Sales Supervisor.

Duties Include:

1. Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers
2. Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
3. Authorize payments and the return of merchandise
4. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
5. Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
6. Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
7. Arrange for the training of new sales staff and monitor and report on performance
8. Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness
9. May perform the same duties as workers supervised
10. Opening and closing the store and signing for deliveries

Wages and Benefits: Wages $35.40 per hour, for 40 hours per week. Vision, Dental and Health Benefits.

Work Experience: Must have at least 1 year of previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson and in cashiering is usually required. Have a strong command of the English language both in oral and written communication.

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
