Job summary

Marketsupport Canada seeks a TEMPORARY Retail Merchandiser to service the Timmins, ON territory. This role offers 5 to 20 hours a month with flexible scheduling and travel to local retailers for merchandising assignments of national brands.

You will photograph displays, provide feedback via our App, map your territory, and build strong relationships with store staff while meeting deadlines. A valid driver's license, smartphone/tablet, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Availability 8am–6pm Mon–Fri and occasional weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Access to smartphone or tablet and home computer with Wi‑Fi.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local retailers to perform merchandising assignments for national brands.
• Provide merchandising services: planograms, displays, POP, shelving, audits, etc.
• Take pictures and give feedback through the reporting App.
• Complete scheduled assignments accurately and on time.
• Coordinate territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store staff.

• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store mangers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Available to work between the hours of 8am - 6pm M-F, and occasional weekends.
• Ability to manage a small local territory and dedicated to completing all assignments.
• Can roll with the punches and handle a diversity of tasks to complete.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Smart phone/ computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent worker and a problem solver.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

• Access to smartphone or tablet (Android/ Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• May occasionally require steel toe shoes.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
