Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Part-time Retail Merchandiser to service our Langley, BC territory, approximately 10 to 30 hours per month. You will travel to local retailers, implement planograms, build and maintain displays, and provide feedback via our reporting App.

A valid driver's license and smartphone are required. The role offers a good hourly wage with mileage reimbursement, flexible daytime hours, and regular training and support as you build relationships with store staff across

• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage a local territory and complete assignments on schedule.
• Comfortable promoting and selling additional products.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local retailers to perform merchandising assignments for brands.
• Take photos and provide feedback through the reporting app.
• Complete scheduled tasks efficiently, accurately and on time.
• Coordinate and map territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store managers and staff.

• Take pictures and provide detailed and constructive feedback through our reporting App.
• Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently, accurately and on time.
• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store mangers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Available to work during daytime hours, M-F approx. 8am - 6pm.
• Ability to manage a small local territory and dedicated to completing all assignments.
• Can roll with the punches and handle a diversity of tasks to complete.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Smart phone/ computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent worker and a problem solver.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

• Access to smartphone or tablet (Android/ Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• May occasionally require steel toe shoes.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
