Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service our Cornwall, ON territory. This part-time role offers 8–12 hours per month with a flexible schedule and independence.

You will travel to local retailers, implement planograms, build displays, take photos and report results via our app. A valid driver’s license and smartphone access are required. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Access to smartphone or tablet and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Willing to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) to perform merchandising assignments for brands.
• Provide merchandising services: planograms, displays, product placement, POP installation, shelf stocking/tidying, auditing.
• Take pictures and provide feedback through reporting App.
• Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently, accurately and on time.
• Coordinate and map territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store managers and staff.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store mangers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Available to work during business hours M-F approx. 8am to 6pm.
• Ability to manage a small local territory and dedicated to completing all assignments.
• Can roll with the punches and handle a diversity of tasks to complete.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Comfortable speaking with managers to replenish and place orders for specific Clients
• Smart phone/ computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent worker and a problem solver.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

• Access to smartphone or tablet (Android/ Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• May occasionally require steel toe shoes.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.

• Competitive hourly wage between $17.60 - $18.50 (based on experience), plus mileage reimbursement (when applicable)..
