Job summary

Prairie Meats in Saskatoon is seeking an experienced Retail Meat Cutter to join our team. You will cut and prepare quality meat portions for retail customers, ensuring freshness and accuracy.

You will operate knives and saw equipment, maintain safety standards, and provide friendly service in a high-volume environment. Completion of a meat cutting course is a plus, and full-time or part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have retail meat cutting experience including customer service.
• Completion of a meat cutting course would be an asset.
• Motivated to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience with equipment is required.

Prairie Meats is now accepting applications for an experienced Retail Meat Cutter to join our Saskatoon team.

The Retail Meat Cutter prepares quality cuts of meat for our retail customers while ensuring the highest standards of quality and freshness. This individual will be completing meat cutting tasks using knives, meat saws, band saws, or other equipment so experience with the equipment is required.

The successful applicant will have retail meat cutting experience including customer service. They must be able to cut meat in accordance with specification. Completion of a meat cutting course would be an asset. All applicants must be motivated to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment. This position is either part-time or full-time, based on the availability of the applicant.
