Job summary

Esterhazy Freshmart is seeking a Full Time Meat Cutter on a temporary 1-year assignment in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. This role involves cutting, wrapping, labeling, and pricing meat, while delivering exceptional customer service to shoppers.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, rotating stock, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Ideal candidates may have food service experience and basic computer skills. This position is on-site.

Qualifications

• Computer and office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, be self-directed and have organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs(22Kg) repetitively.
• Valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with exceptional service in Meat Department.
• Cut, wrap, label, and price meat products; wash utensils and equipment.
• Assist with unloading trucks; receive, rotate, and restock shelves.
• Maintain health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Meat Department | Freshmart | Esterhazy, Saskatchewan

Job Position: Full Time Meat Cutter - Temporary - 1 year

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with our Meat Department team to provide customers with exceptional customer service.
• Cutting, Wrapping, labeling, and pricing meat products. Washing utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with unloading the truck. Receiving, rotating, and restocking shelves.
• Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment is maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week.
• 2 Saturdays per month.
• Daily shifts are typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 0.5 hour unpaid lunch.
• This is a temporary position. To be extended/renewed at the end of the period.

What you will need:
