Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. seeks a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team in Alberta. You will work with the Store Leader to supervise staff, deliver excellent customer service, and drive sales through effective merchandising and programs.

You’ll manage cash handling, loyalty initiatives, and ensure a clean, safe store environment. The role emphasizes staff development, retention, and promotion from within, with full-time hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership alongside the Store Leader.
• Develop leaders, identify and grow qualified applicants, empower staff, and improve productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs across the store.
• Demonstrate and enforce cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program participation.
• Maintain a clean, safe store by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• High School diploma or GED desired; at least 1 year of Retail Management experience acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance as required by state/province.
