Job summary

DANIER, a proud Canadian luxury fashion brand, seeks a District Manager to lead a portfolio of stores, drive sales performance, and elevate the luxury client experience across the district.

You will partner with Store Managers to deliver outstanding service, recruit and develop talent, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. This role requires travel across locations and a strong leadership mindset.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive multi-unit retail management experience, preferably within luxury retail or premium fashion environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple locations and achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing management teams.
  • Strong understanding of diverse Canadian retail markets and geographical regions.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, team-building, performance management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for elevated service experiences.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence and engage across levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and leadership teams to achieve sales, profitability, and customer-experience objectives.

  • Communicate company vision, strategies, and priorities to store leadership and drive execution at store level.
  • Analyze sales, payroll, inventory, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and maximize results.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and achieve organizational goals.

About the Role

As District Manager, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of stores, driving sales performance, developing exceptional talent, and ensuring a consistent luxury customer experience across your district.

You will partner closely with Store Managers to create engaging customer experiences, achieve business objectives, and foster a culture built on client relationships, product expertise, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays as required.
  • Approximately 75% of time spent in stores and 25% in office/administrative functions.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods.
