Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations and to help achieve sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train and develop team members. You will act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence, driving excellent customer service and store standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager with daily operations and staff management.
• Assist with merchandising, stocking, and processing shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Train, coach, and develop employees.
• Handle cash management and opening/closing duties as needed.
• Assign tasks and ensure store safety and cleanliness.
