Job summary

Atlantic Superstore in Moncton, NB is looking for an Asset Protection professional to safeguard customers, employees and assets in a high-volume grocery and pharmacy setting. You will patrol, deter theft, and investigate incidents while collaborating with local law enforcement as needed.

The role requires a valid Provincial Security Guard License, knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, and experience with CCTV and surveillance tools.

Qualifications

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Familiarity with CCTV, surveillance tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Professional presence and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect and deter theft, fraud and policy violations by maintaining a visible, professional in-store presence.
• Apprehend offenders safely and in accordance with company and legal procedures.
• Investigate and collaborate with law enforcement when required; gather and analyze evidence.
• Identify loss trends with store leadership and implement prevention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and provincial regulations.
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced retail environment with a flexible schedule.
