Job summary

Lanark County Community Justice seeks a diligent Program Coordinator for the Youth and Adult Restorative Justice Court Diversion Program. This permanent part-time role (30 hours per week) includes an additional temporary 5.5 hours weekly through December 31, 2026, supporting the Executive Director in administrative functions and ensuring smooth execution of community justice forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology or related field is preferred.
• Certifications or training in restorative justice, mediation or conflict resolution can enhance qualifications.
• Experience in program coordination or case management within the criminal justice system is valuable.
• Knowledge of restorative justice principles and community-based programs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Case intake and management with police, Crown Attorneys and partners.
• Facilitator training and support for volunteers; coordinate monthly meetings.
• Attend Board meetings; provide documentation and updates.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with practices.
• Office administration and outreach; manage Zoom forums and recordings.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Executive Director.
