Job summary

BELFOR CANADA INC. is seeking a Repair and Restoration Technician to support restoration projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

• Proficient in basic math.

• Attention to detail and safeguarding property and information.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Understanding of customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material take-offs, read blueprints, interpret work orders, and apply building codes and construction math to ensure compliant execution of tasks.
• Perform restoration tasks in line with residential and commercial construction projects from site preparation to job completion.
• Identify and address issues affecting job completion, coordinating with the Project Manager and adhering to timelines to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Foster customer satisfaction by maintaining professionalism and communicating promptly with clients, subcontractors, insurance adjustors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by conducting hazard assessments and maintaining hazard-free job sites; ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Any other reasonable duties as assigned.
