Job summary

First Onsite Restoration is seeking a Project Manager I to lead property restoration projects from intake to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards while building strong relationships with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers.

Based in Kingston, Ontario, you will assess losses, define scopes, prepare estimates, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and monitor safety, documentation, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Supervisor or in a related restoration or construction role.
• College diploma or an equivalent mix of education, professional training, and relevant experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of restoration processes, building codes, and health and safety practices.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret scopes, plans, and estimates.
• Experience with Xactimate or estimating software preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mobile applications.
• IICRC or equivalent certifications an asset; ability to obtain WRT certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
• Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)

• Meet with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to communicate updates and manage expectations.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, and documentation to align with standards and best practices.
• Take initiative to solve problems and ensure safe project completion on time and within budget.
