Job summary

Eataly Don Mills is seeking a Restaurant Table Support (Part-Time) to deliver timely and accurate dining service and to keep tables organized and clean in a busy environment. You will work under the Restaurant Manager and help ensure guests have a high-quality experience.

Requirements include at least 1 year in a fast-paced restaurant, a valid Smart Serve, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. CAD 17.95 per hour plus tips is offered with onsite duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold a valid Smart Serve.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, pours beverages, serves bread and olive oil.
• Runs food from kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course is complete and accurate.
• Delivers beverages from the bar and keeps water glasses filled.
• Clears dishes and silverware between courses and after guests leave.
• Maintains cleanliness of tables and chairs and resets vacated tables.
• Assists servers and learns menu items and ingredients.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

A Table Support Team Member is responsible for creating a high-quality dining experience in Eataly’s restaurants through timely and accurate delivery of meals as well as the organization and cleaning of tables. Reports to the Restaurant Manager.

• Greets guests in assigned area; pours beverage as requested; serves bread and olive oil


• Runs food from kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course to be delivered is complete and accurate


• Runs beverage from bar to guest tables and makes sure water glasses remain filled


• Removes used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table


• Maintains cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables


• Assists servers when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items


• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant

Compensation
