Sabitri's Global Cuisine in Owen Sound, ON is seeking a restaurant supervisor to lead daily kitchen operations, supervise 1–4 staff, train team on sanitation and safety, and ensure quality control of food and service.
You will prepare budgets, manage stock, handle customer concerns, and coordinate schedules to meet demand, while leveraging your knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Asset languages: Hindi. Nepali. Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation . Hire food service staff. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Prepare budget and cost estimates. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare and submit reports. Prepare food order summaries for chef. Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres. Establish work schedules. Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. 3-4 people.
