Job summary

Easton’s Group is hiring for a Courtyard by Marriott Kingston Bistro server. You will join a team delivering courteous service to hotel guests, taking orders, and presenting food to standards. Opportunities for growth, inclusive culture, and comprehensive benefits are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing abilities.

• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or health/food handler card as required by local/provincial agencies.
• Available to work any shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all guests and taking beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Preparing food and beverages for service to hotel guests and presenting food according to health and presentation standards.
• Performing side-work and opening/closing duties; ensuring stations are clean and maintained.
• Receiving guest payments and processing transactions.
• Making appropriate service recovery gestures according to guidelines.

About the Hotel

The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a heated pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone with a knack for efficient and courteous service to join our team of amazing Bistro servers!

What will you be doing?

• Greeting all guests and taking beverage and food orders promptly and professionally
