  • Valid Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent training.
  • Experience using LibreMD EMR or another Canadian EMR system.
  • Familiarity with Manitoba Health physician billing procedures is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient appointments across multiple providers.
  • Maintain confidential patient records using LibreMD EMR.

By maintaining accurate records, managing scheduling, supporting billing processes, and contributing to a positive patient experience, the MOA helps uphold the clinic’s mission of accessible, reliable, and holistic healthcare. Responsibilities
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming visits across multiple providers.

  • Prepare patient charts for clinical visits, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a medical clinic setting.
