Job summary

Anishinabek Employment & Training Services is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Tim Hortons restaurant. You will supervise daily operations, develop the team, drive sales, manage labour and costs, and uphold Tim Hortons standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will receive ongoing support from the General Manager and Owner, with a focus on a positive work culture and continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience; fast-food or quick-service experience preferred.
  • Experience leading 5–10+ employees per shift.
  • Post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Coaching, training, motivation, and accountability in service and food-safety.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct store walk-throughs, audits, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with team, suppliers, and senior management.
  • Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced, positive, hardworking, honest, and dependable Store Manager to lead our busy Tim Hortons restaurant.

Duties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth shift execution.

  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and restaurant presentation.
  • Manage inventory, scheduling, ordering, waste, and food costs.
  • Conduct store walk-throughs, audits, and follow up on corrective actions.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience; fast-food or quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
  • Several years of progressively responsible food-service experience, including team leadership, shift supervision, and restaurant management.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Experience leading and supervising 5–10+ employees during a shift.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable while maintaining service and food-safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of labour, sales, food-cost control, inventory, waste management, scheduling, and daily restaurant operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in creating positive guest experiences.
  • Reliable, punctual, honest, hardworking, and professional.
  • Strong computer and office administration skills.
  • Positive and energetic attitude with a genuine desire to work with and engage with people.
  • Passion for food, beverages, hospitality, and the restaurant industry.
  • Team-player mentality with the ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet the physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Serv-Safe Food-handler certification and First Aid training are considered assets.
