Job summary

Tim Hortons is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced restaurant team. You will motivate Team Members to deliver exceptional guest service, train staff to high standards, and support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of quick-service supervisory experience, strong coaching skills, and a customer-focused mindset. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and adherence to health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of quick-service experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience coaching and training Team Members.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset and guest-focused.
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation.

Responsibilities

• Manage labour costs through effective floor management.
• Control food & paper costs using order guides.
• Ensure promotions and product launches are executed well.
• Resolve guest issues and lead the team to minimize problems.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new Team Members.
• Train new Team Members and reinforce procedures.
• Coach and discipline team members as needed.
• Lead by example and follow Tim Hortons policies.
• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily operations.
• Foster a positive work environment through strong leadership.
