Job summary

Browns Social House, including Browns Crafthouse Main Street, is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager in Vancouver to lead daily operations and mentor a team. You will champion brand standards, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and manage HR tasks with a focus on growth.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, cost control, and delivering a high-quality Food & Beverage program within a dynamic, award-winning restaurant group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Strong computer and office administration skills.
• Ability to train staff and deliver guest experiences.
• Food & beverage knowledge and leadership.
• Ability to build relationships and develop people.
• Current First Aid, Serving It Right & Food Safe certifications.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in service during all operating hours.
• Lead staff training and uphold brand standards.
• Maintain high quality in Food & Beverage programs.
• Coordinate pre-shift meetings.
• HR management including hiring, training, performance reviews and scheduling.
• Communicate Food, Wine, and Beverage details to service.
• Develop product knowledge through training, seminars, and tastings.
• Inventory and cost control management.
• Foster staff development and recognize excellence.
• Develop and maintain regular clientele.
• Increase guest check average.
• Balance daily cash and meet labor targets.
