Job summary

Inquiring Little Minds (Edith McDermott Center) is seeking caring staff for before- and after-school care in Pitt Meadows, BC. The role requires patience, reliability, and a love for working with kids. Applicants must be 19+, clear criminal record checks, and hold or be willing to obtain First Aid cert. A 20-hour Responsible Adult Course is needed.

Shifts include split mornings 7:30-8:30, 2:30-4:30, or afternoon 2:15-5:45, Monday through Friday, with weekends off. Overtime pay is available.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and be patient, attentive, and fun.
• Eligible: 19 years or older, clear criminal record check (or willingness to obtain), and valid First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Certification: Responsible Adult Course required (20-hour course).

Responsibilities

• Supervise before and after school care and ensure children's safety.
• Plan and engage children with age-appropriate activities.
• Communicate with parents and center staff about children's progress and behavior.

What We're Looking For:
