Job summary

Brightshores Health System in Owen Sound is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to plan and implement therapies for patients with heart and lung disorders. You will operate complex equipment, ensure safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario, BCLS, NRP, and recent inpatient critical care experience. Flexibility for shifts, including weekends and on-call, is essential.

Qualifications

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario is required.
• Experience in all clinical areas at Brightshores Health System is preferred.
• Current BCLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Recent inpatient acute/critical care experience is required.
• Ability to work in all aspects of Respiratory Therapy including Sleep Lab is expected.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.

They are also responsible for the operation, quality control, and general maintenance of complex equipment.
