Job summary

Schlumberger Canada Limited in Nisku, AB, is seeking a Resource Coordinator to support planning, coordination and availability of materials for operations and maintenance. You will work with operations, supply chain, logistics and maintenance to ensure resources are available and inventory is optimized to meet business needs.

Ideal candidate is dependable, analytical, data-driven and able to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, material planning, logistics coordination, or a related operational environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data, reports and spreadsheets.
  • APICS CSCP certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support material planning and continuity of operations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update material planning schedules to support operational requirements.
  • Utilize MRP data, forecasts and inventory to plan material requirements and support replenishment.
  • Analyze forecasts, inventory requirements and supply plans to identify material risks.
  • Develop and maintain inventory strategies balancing service levels and investment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, material availability and resource requirements for business continuity.
  • Coordinate with operations, supply chain, logistics and maintenance to ensure timely material availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align material requirements with priorities.
  • Track deliveries, lead times and supply constraints; support issue resolution.
  • Prioritize planning activities including expediting, rescheduling and allocation.
  • Support inventory optimization and continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs related to inventory performance and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate planning system data and compliance with policies.

You will work closely with operations, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure resources are available when needed and that inventory levels are optimized to support business requirements. Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, material planning, logistics coordination, or a related operational environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to work with data, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support material planning, resolve supply issues, and maintain continuity of operations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering accurate and timely results.
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
