Job summary

Schlumberger Canada Limited seeks a Resource Coordinator to support material planning, inventory control, and multi-team coordination in Nisku. You will optimize resource availability and ensure timeliness for operations while collaborating with operations, logistics, and maintenance teams.

The role offers growth in supply chain planning within a global tech company. You will work with data, forecasts, and ERP systems to drive efficiency, maintain schedules, and improve inventory performance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, material planning, logistics coordination, or related operational environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • APICS CSCP certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update material planning schedules to support operational requirements.
  • Utilize MRP data, demand forecasts, and inventory information to plan material requirements and support replenishment activities.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory requirements, and supply plans to identify material risks and support continuity of operations.
  • Develop and maintain inventory strategies balancing service levels, inventory investment, and operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels, material availability, and resource requirements to ensure business continuity.
  • Coordinate with operations, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance teams for timely material availability.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align material requirements with priorities and business objectives.
  • Track deliveries, lead times, and supply constraints; support issue resolution.
  • Prioritize planning activities including expediting, rescheduling, and material allocation.
  • Support inventory optimization and continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs related to inventory performance, resource utilization, and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate planning system data and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Job description

SLB is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our Nisku team as a Resource Coordinator. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and availability of materials, assets, and products required for upcoming operational and maintenance activities. You will work closely with operations, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure resources are available when needed and that inventory levels are optimized to support business requirements. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in supply chain operations while contributing to the efficiency and success of a fast-paced business environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, material planning, logistics coordination, or a related operational environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to work with data, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support material planning, resolve supply issues, and maintain continuity of operations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering accurate and timely results.
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
