Job summary

W̱SÁNEĆ College seeks a Resource Development/Artist/Outreach Coordinator to support SENĆOŦEN language materials development and distribution within classrooms and W̱SÁNEĆ homes. You will collaborate with SȾÁ,SEN team and immersion teachers under guidance, creating resources for in-person and digital use.

The role emphasizes outreach, material preparation, and home/community infusion of SENĆOŦEN, with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Work preparing materials and resources for SENĆOŦEN outreach and immersion classrooms and W̱SÁNEĆ homes.
• Work with programmer to include materials on website and other digital means.
• Create take home kits and work with parents and community to infuse SENĆOŦEN into W̱SÁNEĆ homes.
• To work independently at times and be self-motivated within a team environment.

HOURS OF WORK

7 hrs per day based on a schedule to be determined in accordance with the operational needs of the W̱SÁNEĆ School Board.
