Reservation Agents handle all reservation and pre-arrival processes via phone, email, and other channels, providing exceptional guest service and responding to inquiries about reservation details, on-site facilities, or local attractions. Responsibilities include managing group blocks, individual reservations, and owner reservations. This role collaborates closely with all departments to exceed guest expectations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Reservation Agents report directly to the Revenue Manager.
Knowledge of resort amenities and the South Okanagan area is essential to educate guests about the region's offerings.
High standards of excellence and a strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Previous front office experience or post-secondary education in hospitality is an asset; proficiency with Microsoft programs is required. Opera experience is beneficial but not critical. Flexibility to work weekends and adapt in an innovative, multi-tasking environment is necessary.
